Karl Bushby – Bering Strait on foot

Karl Bushby’s GOLIATH EXPEDITION is a manifesto for strength, dedication, perseverance and willpower to overcome whatever obstacles.

A former paratrooper, Karl started his epic trip in November 1998 in Puntarenas at the very bottom of South America and saw him walk up the Americas, crossing the extremely dangerous Darién jungle, a natural barrier which separates South America from Central America, alone and on foot. In the meantime he managed to make his way into Russia by crossing the frozen Bering Strait together with Ultramarathoner Dimitri Kieffer. Here’s the footage of their groundbreaking Bering Strait feat, a truly world first:
