I get a lot of requests these days and quite a few of them are repetitive. Time is one of the scarcest ressources these days. Please help me to be more efficient by checking first if the FAQ already holds an answer to your question:

  1. I would like to advertise my product/services on your blog. Is that possible?
  2. Can I book you for a lecture or a public appearance?
  3. I have some questions for planning a journey. Can you help?
  4. I run my own project. Can you support me free of charge?
  5. I want to write a guest post and/or cooperate with you – is that possible?
  6. I’m a journalist. I’d like to do an interview or have you appear in the media – are you interested?
  7. May I use your images?
  8. Can you plan my journey from A to Z?
  9. I’d like to employ you/work with you. Is this possible?
1. I would like to advertise my product/services on your blog. Is that possible?
This is certainly possible, although in a limited fashion, as long as your product fits the overall scope of this website which is adventure, expeditions and individual travel, and if it optically integrates with the blog.
2. Can I book you for a lecture or a public appearance?
Yes. Please describe your goals and target audience, as well as your idea and means to compensate for expeditures in a brief E-Mail. Please check out this page for further information about lectures.
3. I have some questions for planning a journey. Can you help?
It is very likely that I can. I am currently setting up an information portal here about all aspects of expedition-related travel, which will leave few questions unanswered. In the meantime, please feel free to ask should be believe I might provide an answer. I love to help, but please respect my time by not asking questions which answer a simple google search could provide, and, eventually think about being fair and buying a consulting service if you require more substancial consulting.
4. I run my own project. Can you support me free of charge?
It depends. I can act as the man behind the camera oder guide and manage a group. I’ve also a strong interest in ocean-bound endeavours, such as sailing or crew for delivering yachts. If the project is interesting I might work for free, but need to insist on coverage of travel expenses.
5. I want to write a guest post and/or cooperate with you – is that possible?
Yes, as long as we find a mutual basis. Drop me a line.
6. I’m a journalist. I’d like to do an interview or have you appear in the media – are you interested?
Yes. Generally I prefer an giving interviews face to face along with a coffee instead of e-mail. However I need to insist on the questions prior to meeting in person to be able to give more differenciated answers. Same apllies for media appearances.

Furthermore, as the adventure business is not exactly a business to get rich quick, I need to insist on the usual compensation, at least when travel expenses occur.

7. May I use your images?
Generally there’s nothing speaking against it, though I ask you to inform me prior to usage and give proper credit to the source along with a follow link.
8. Can you plan my journey from A to Z?
As long as I’m not pre-occupied with our projects I can do this for you. In this case, please do have a look at this page and this page. Contact me along with a brief summary of your plans.
9. I’d like to employ you/work with you. Is this possible?
Certainly! Doing what I love while at the same time trying to make sure to have a roof above my head, not talking about all the bills that have to be paid, can be quite a challenge. Therefore, if you have something going on and think I might be interested in – give it to me! Contact me! I can take care of all aspects. From delevoping ideas, consulting, research, evaluation, logistics, finding partners to creating, running and marketing your website to execution from tour organisation to private guiding!
